Liverpool lost 2-1 to Wolves on an injury-time goal to midfielder Andre, coming via an outside-the-box shot that deflected off Reds defender Joe Gomez and into the net past Alisson.
This was the fifth injury-time winner Liverpool has conceded, a Premier League record for a single campaign (per Opta). This time, the Reds' defeat comes at the hands of the team that entered the day bottom of the league table.
“How do I sum us up? Same old story," coach Arne Slot said postgame. "Recently, we have been picking up points from scoring from set pieces, but what has not changed in the past 5-6-7 games is that we struggle and find it very hard to score from open play chances we do create.

Here are the other instances of Liverpool conceding late winners:
September 27 at Crystal Palace: Reds-killer Ismaila Sarr scored in the 97th minute to clinch a 2-1 win, ending a perfect start to the season for Slot's team.
October 4 at Chelsea: A week later, Chelsea substitute Estevao announced himself to the footballing world with a late winner in the 95th minute to sink Liverpool's early-season title hopes.
January 24 at Bournemouth: Liverpool did well to come back on the road against Bournemouth, but substitute Amine Adli took advantage of carnage in the box to score in the 95th minute of a 3-2 match.
February 8 at Manchester City: Erling Haaland scored from the penalty spot in the 93rd minute to help the Cityzens stay in the title race with a 2-1 win. He nearly scored another a few minutes later before Dominik Szobozslai saved a goal with a red card challenge.
The Reds have also allowed a pair of injury-time equalizers: a 96th-minute finish by Ao Tanaka against Leeds in December leveled the score at 3-3, and a Harrison Reed stunner for Fulham secured his side a point in a 2-2 draw in early January.
Against Manchester United in October, Harry Maguire scored a header in the 84th minute to give the Red Devils a 2-1 win.
